Swiss Visio supports ‘Les Fées Papillon’ association
In October, our ophthalmology specialist Dr Anne Favard and two friends will be taking part in the Trek Rose Trip, an orienteering race in the heart of the Moroccan desert. Armed with a compass, a map, a topographical protractor and a good pair of walking shoes, the women will cross the vast, wild desert spaces of Morocco.
Self-funded, they will support and raise funds for the local charity Enfants du Désert. This association works to improve access to education for young people and to prevent girls in rural areas of Morocco from dropping out of school.
Dr Anne Favard and her team-mates are organising a fund-raising meal on Friday 31st March 2023 at the Maison Pullieranne in Pully.
