AMD, what therapeutic solutions?
Presbyopia, glaucoma, cataracts... many eye diseases are linked to age. Focus on AMD
Many sight problems are linked to age, but some, such as presbyopia or cataracts, have no harmful consequences for the patient. Other conditions, however, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and AMD, can eventually lead to partial or even total blindness if they are not treated quickly and appropriately.
Age-related macular degeneration, a degenerative disease that affects central vision, cannot be cured. Its treatment aims to delay its progression and/or limit the visual effects it causes.
