Minimally invasive myoma treatment with SONATA System - by Dr. Schmid-Lossberg

Health Talks, Ep. 2

At Privatklinik Bethanien, Dr. Schmid-Lossberg performs the SONATA system procedure, an advanced and minimally invasive treatment for uterine fibroids (myomas). Myomas are the most common benign tumours in women, affecting two-thirds of premenopausal women.

Fibroids can cause symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding and pelvic discomfort affecting many women’s quality of life.
The SONATA treatment is an innovative system that uses radiofrequency energy, guided by ultrasound, to target and treat fibroids from inside the uterus without the need for surgical incisions.
As a result, there are no scars, and patients benefit from a significantly faster recovery time. Most can return to their daily routines within just a few days.

We spoke to opera singer Mrs. Barbara Marin, who underwent the SONATA procedure. She shares her positive experience with us.
