A former university department head and full professor of neurology, Professor Julien Bogousslavsky currently leads the neurological rehabilitation department at Clinique Valmont in Glion sur Montreux, Switzerland. He specializes in the treatment of stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraine, cognitive and memory disorders, as well as nerve, muscle, and spinal cord disorders.
His distinguished career led to his election as President of the World Stroke Society. With over 600 scientific articles and approximately 50 monographs to his name, Professor Bogousslavsky is a highly regarded authority in his field. He is also the founder of the European Stroke Conference and serves as the editor-in-chief of European Neurology.
In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the prestigious Feinberg Prize by the American Heart Association. Furthermore, Professor Bogousslavsky serves as the editor-in-chief of several esteemed scientific journals including “European Neurology”, “Frontiers in Neurology and Neuroscience” and “Case Reports in Neurology”.
