What is cosmetic and corrective dermatology?
Aesthetic and corrective dermatology is a branch of dermatology that treats:
- visible dermatological pathologies that have a major impact on quality of life, such as scars: post-traumatic, surgical, burn scars or scars associated with a dermatological condition such as acne scars, as well as scars associated with changes in life such as stretch marks (pregnancy, growth, weight gain and loss).
- the correction and support of skin ageing and its consequences: wrinkles, sun spots, vascular lesions (rosacea, telangiectasias of the face and lower limbs), laxity and changes in skin texture, etc.
