What is cosmetic and corrective dermatology?

Aesthetic and corrective dermatology is a branch of dermatology that treats:

visible dermatological pathologies that have a major impact on quality of life, such as scars: post-traumatic, surgical, burn scars or scars associated with a dermatological condition such as acne scars, as well as scars associated with changes in life such as stretch marks (pregnancy, growth, weight gain and loss).
the correction and support of skin ageing and its consequences: wrinkles, sun spots, vascular lesions (rosacea, telangiectasias of the face and lower limbs), laxity and changes in skin texture, etc.
