Competences

  • Care of outpatients and inpatients with circulatory conditions affecting the arteries, veins, lymphatic system or microcirculation.
  • Diagnosis of vascular conditions using Doppler ultrasound, vascular plethysmography, arterial continuous-wave Doppler and capillaroscopy.
  • Ambulatory treatment of varices using minimally invasive methods under local anaesthetic, such as sclerotherapy, phlebectomy and thermal ablation of the saphenous vein.
  • Care and conservative treatment of primary or secondary lymphedema.
  • Artery and vein mapping to create vascular access for haemodialysis and monitoring in the event of problems.
