Dr. med. Thanh Nam Lê

After completing his medical studies at the University of Geneva, his medical career began with an internship at the Valais Hospitals (2013 to 2015), during which he gained valuable experience in the management of osteoarticular injuries related to skiing.

He worked as head of clinic in the trauma emergency team at the HUG (2019 to 2020), then as head of clinic in the sports trauma unit (2021-2023). These experiences have enabled him to specialise in the care of athletes and patients suffering from sports injuries. 

To hone his skills in specialist knee surgery, he spent a year as head of clinic at the Centre Hospitalier de Versailles (2023 to 2024), recognised as a reference centre in the Île-de-France region for meniscal, ligament and prosthetic knee surgery. This experience provided an opportunity to treat more complex and rare cases, including multi-ligament injuries to the knee, severe cartilage injuries in young people and malalignment of the lower limb.

Working jointly with Dr Beat Fischer since 1 January 2025, he joins the surgical team at Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, bringing with him his expertise in the treatment of motor system injuries and, more specifically, meniscal and ligament injuries of the knee.
