Treatment of breast cancer and breast tumours

Gynaecological oncology

As a branch of gynaecology, gynaecological oncology deals with the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care of benign and malignant tumour diseases in connection with the sex organs of women.

Most common illnesses

The good news is that, for cancer cases that are detected and treated early, there are often good to very good chances of a cure.

For this reason, however, it is important that even young women regularly attend their gynaecologist’s check-ups and, in the course of these, have their gynaecologist carry out the corresponding cancer screening tests.

Cancer centres

For over a decade, Swiss Oncology Network has set its sights on one overriding goal: to offer everyone living with cancer privileged access to treatments and the best and safest treatment strategies for their specific illness.
