ASSURA

Is the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu a partner of Assura?

Yes, but only for the “Ultra” product range. For these products, Assura and the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu have an agreement on the pricing of the hospital services for your stay. Upon receiving your file, our services will notify your insurer of your upcoming admission. The clinic will then receive a decision from your insurance regarding the coverage of your hospitalization’s costs. This means that, following your stay, the clinic will issue its invoice to your insurance, which will pay it directly to the clinic (third-party billing).

If you have an Assura “Optima” product, the clinic does not have an agreement with your insurer, the costs will not be covered.

What about medical fees?

Assura has reached an agreement with the Association of Doctors of the Canton of Geneva for the medical fees. If your doctor adheres to the negotiated rate, the fees will be fully reimbursed by your insurance (subject to co-payment or deductible depending on your contract). The medical fees will be sent to you directly (third-party guarantee) and you will need to submit them to your insurance for reimbursement.

What should I do?

You do not need to take any action. Our services will take care of obtaining a full coverage guarantee from your insurer.

Do I have to make a deposit?

SANITAS

Is the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu a partner of Sanitas?

No. Sanitas broke all contractual ties with the main private establishments in the canton of Geneva on October 28, 2024 due to a lack of agreement on the pricing of medical fees.

What consequences does this have for my future stay?

Sanitas will no longer provide a guarantee of coverage for the services of the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu and will communicate its decisions to you directly.

What should I do?

Upon receiving your file, our services have informed your insurer of your upcoming admission and have sent them the attached quote. You will receive a decision from Sanitas at your home indicating whether your stay costs are covered, in part or in full. If you accept it, you will then have to return the signed quote to us.

Will my accommodation costs be reimbursed?

This will depend on your insurance product. The Clinique Générale-Beaulieu commits to applying the latest known contractual rates, ensuring Sanitas policyholders are not disadvantaged. However, only your insurer will be able to confirm the extent of its coverage.

Do I have to pay the costs in advance?

In the absence of any contractual link, Sanitas refuses to have the costs of your stay billed directly to it (third-party payment). These costs will be billed to you and reimbursed by your insurer up to the guaranteed amounts (third-party guarantor).

Upon presentation of a guarantee of full coverage, the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu waives any deposit from you. We therefore invite you to send us your insurer's decision upon receipt. If not, our services will ask you to make a deposit of the non-guaranteed amount prior to your admission.

Do I have to sign the power of attorney required by my insurer?

Although we do not endorse this unnecessarily hostile measure against us, we leave it to you to take any necessary measures to ensure that your stay is covered by your insurer.

Will this situation continue?

We regret this situation, which is beyond our control, and encourage dialogue between the medical profession and Sanitas to resolve it quickly.
