At the Privatklinik Lindberg, health, enjoyment and well-being are treated as the highest priority. In order to meet the demands of our patients, a competent team always takes care of your concerns, from insurance and registration to chauffeur service or hairdresser.

Stay

Registration

Your admission date as well as appointments for possible medical examinations will be determined and reserved together with your doctor according to your needs. In order for us to be able to obtain approval for the costs from your insurance company, please give your specialist a copy of your health insurance card (with hospital supplement). You will receive confirmation of your registration for admission to the clinic by letter or e-mail.

Admission

Please report to the reception of the Privatklinik Lindberg at the agreed time. The formalities have already been arranged and you can be admitted without waiting. One of our staff will welcome you at the patient reception and accompany you to your room. There we will explain the facilities and the daily routine to you and answer any questions you may have.

During the stay

Doctor's visits:
The doctor's rounds are scheduled by the attending doctor and take place daily. We ask you to inform the nursing staff when you leave your room so that we can coordinate the doctor's visits accordingly.

Meal times:
We serve all meals in your room as follows, or optionally (lunch only) in our Bistro Lindberg on the ground floor.

We also offer flexible meal times for patients with private health insurance. Please ask the nursing team about this.

Guests:
Your guests are welcome to dine with us in your room. Please register guests by 10:00 a.m. for lunch and by 3:00 p.m. for dinner. Alternatively, you can eat together à-la-carte in Bistro Lindberg at lunchtime. If you are expecting visitors for breakfast, please inform the nursing team the day before.

Physiotherapy:
The physiotherapy rooms are located on the 1st floor. You can reach the therapists by calling 710.

Exit and aftercare

Your specialist will inform you of your exit date in a personal consultation. As a rule, this takes place one day before the actual exit date. Our guest services will help you pack. You hand in your telephone card at reception and settle your private expenses there. We will take care of all other formalities for you. The check-out takes place at 11:00 am. You are welcome to have lunch afterwards in the Lindberg Bistro.

Insurance

Patients insured in Switzerland

In principle, your health insurance will cover the costs of the high-level services provided by the Privatklinik Lindberg if you have supplementary hospital insurance (private or semi-private ward).
If the procedure in our clinic is covered by accident insurance, the costs of the stay are generally also covered by the insurance for patients with general insurance. In the case of outpatient procedures (stay without overnight stay/bed use), no additional insurance is required.

Cost approval

Before the patient is admitted, the Privatklinik Lindberg obtains approval from the health insurance company to cover the costs of the stay. If the health insurance does not guarantee full cost coverage, a deposit may have to be paid before admission. In this case you will be informed.

Billing

We prepare the invoice in accordance with the contracts concluded with the insurance companies and in accordance with the valid health insurance tariffs of the Canton of Zurich. If your insurance company is our contractual partner, the invoice goes directly to the insurance company. You will then only receive an invoice for the services that are not covered by the health insurance (for example, telephone costs, meals for your guests, etc.).

As a Sanitas Preference customer, you have the option of using additional services during a hospital stay, with which you are comprehensively cared for. This starts before your hospital stay and only ends when you have recovered to the extent that you can take care of everything yourself again.

Cost estimates/upgrades

If you do not have supplementary hospital insurance and wish to be treated at the Privatklinik Lindberg, we will be happy to prepare a cost estimate.
We will also be happy to provide you with a cost estimate for an upgrade from semi-private to private or for an overnight stay in one of our suites.
