Welcome to Doctor Gilles Herren
Dr. Gilles Herren obtained his Federal Diploma in Medicine in Geneva in 2004. Subsequently, he directed his career towards the field of surgery and achieved the title of FMH Specialist in 2012. Over the years, he has gained extensive professional experience, practicing in various renowned institutions, including HUG, Pourtalès Hospital, and as a Clinical Chief in the Surgery Department at Morges Hospital, HUG, and Hospitals in Sierre and Sion.
In 2014, Dr. Herren joined Nyon Hospital as Co-Head of the Surgery Department. Over nine years, he honed his skills in minimally invasive surgical techniques and introduced an innovative approach in 2018: the management of incisional ventral hernias through laparoscopy.
Dr. Herren has joined the Genolier Clinic to leverage his numerous skills in the field of General Surgery and his innovative surgical techniques.
