In early May, the Clinica Ars Medica in Gravesano hosted a premiere in the canton: the implantation of a custom-made reverse prosthesis in the right shoulder of an 84-year-old woman. A concerted effort between Dr Francesco Marbach, a specialist in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the locomotor apparatus at the Gravesano clinic, and LimaCorporate with its ProMade team from San Daniele, a leading Italian company in the production of orthopaedic implants. With the specialist, we retraced the steps of this intervention.
