La Consulenza Rete Uno - Dr. med. Paolo Erba
Deviation of the nasal septum
The nasal septum is the thin wall that separates the two nostrils; a deviated nasal septum is an abnormal condition characterised by a shift to the right or left of this structure, which then loses its symmetry. This displacement can be congenital or acquired, i.e. traumatic in nature after an accident. It causes an asymmetry in the flow of air in and out of the nostrils. How to solve the problems related to this pathology?
