An APE (Ambulatorio Pediatrico) began its flight at the Clinica Sant'Anna in Sorengo on 14 September 2020, when it was set up to meet the needs of the youngest patients when paediatric surgeries are closed or an appointment cannot be made quickly.
Four years on, many things have evolved in favour of an even quicker and more structured reception, and an individualised and multidisciplinary ad hoc take-over. "As far as urgent visits are concerned, we have now extended the reception commitment in the very shortest time from the morning: those who call at 10.00 a.m. because they cannot reach their paediatrician can be received immediately because the APE is always open (09.00 - 17.30, including weekends from 09.00 to 14.00).
