Are we sure that "fat is really good?" Or rather, if we say fat is beautiful, are we sure it is also healthy?
The inclusive momentum of our times tends to normalize everything, for fear of appearing judgmental. A transportation that we can call politically correct, consequent to a certain cultural tendency, but which ideologically has some distortion that sometimes leads to denying the most solid medical truths. For example, are we sure that “fat is really good?” Or rather, if we say fat is beautiful, are we sure it is also healthy? While it is right not to stigmatize and not to discriminate, on the other hand, we cannot deny that from childhood, obesity is a serious health problem, with a worsening effect exacerbated by age and the diseases that weight gain can accelerate and worsen.
