In addition to personal suffering, they generate annual costs in the order of billions. These are the reasons that led the Upi to launch the «StopCadute» campaign, which in its pilot phase (between 2019 and 2022) was systematically aimed at integrating interprofessional prevention targeting people over 65 into the health care of some pilot cantons (St. Gallen, Bern, Graubünden and Zurich).
