World Hospital Congress 2025 : Call for abstracts – We need your expertise!
This year, Switzerland will host the World Hospital Congress of the International Hospital Federation (IHF). From 10 to 13 November 2025, the international healthcare community will gather in Geneva to address current and future challenges in the field of healthcare, with the overall theme of ‘Global learning, local action for every patient’.
This congress offers professionals from hospitals and healthcare associations a platform for international exchange and discussion on key issues. It will be hosted by the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) and the canton of Geneva. Over 1,400 participants from more than 80 countries are expected to attend.

"Call for abstracts until 28 February 2025
The IHF invites interested parties to submit their abstract(s) by 28 February 2025, on the following themes:
- Leadership imperatives
- Clinical models enhancing quality and safety
- Environmentally sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon healthcare
- Digital transformation and AI in care and hospital operations
- The human-centred experience - core to all we do
Guidelines and details are available on the official World Hospital Congress website. Only individuals or groups affiliated with hospitals and clinics, healthcare organisations, and academic or research institutions are eligible for submissions.
Abstracts can be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts portal.
