A former member of the Swiss-Ski and Ski Valais medical groups, Dr Olivier Siegrist began his career studying medicine at the University of Geneva, then completed his training in orthopaedic surgery at the University Hospital in Berne, before completing a fellowship in knee surgery in Lyon under the supervision of Dr Pierre Chambat.
His professional experience includes positions as head of orthopaedic surgery at the HUG and assistant orthopaedic surgeon at the CHUV.
Since 2006, Dr Siegrist has worked as a freelance physician at the Hôpital de la Tour in Geneva and has also been a registered physician at the Hôpital du Valais.
