Welcome to Doctor Alexandru Eniu

It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of Dr Alexandru Eniu at Clinique de Genolier. Medical oncologist, he brings with him internationally recognised expertise in the treatment of breast cancer.

Holder of an MD and a PhD in medical sciences from the University of Iuliu Hatieganu in Romania, he worked in the breast tumour department of the Ion Chiricuta Oncological Institute in Romania before joining the Riviera-Chablais Hospital in 2020, where he helped develop the breast unit and coordinated the Oncology Centre.

His career has been marked by a wealth of international experience: he was a fellow of the Mayo Foundation at the Mayo Breast Cancer Clinic in Florida and has spent time as a visiting clinician at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Texas) and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York). He also completed a fellowship at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan.

As an influential figure in oncology research and guideline development, he has held key roles within ESMO, ASCO and the European School of Oncology, where he has been President of the College since 2023. He is also a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals, including Annals of Oncology.

He has contributed to the development of international recommendations for the treatment of breast cancer and has published more than 100 scientific articles and six book chapters in his field of expertise.
