Public conference: ‘What if your lifestyle determined your longevity?

We are delighted to invite you to our next public conference, which will look at the links between our lifestyles and their impact on longevity.

Thursday 3rd April 2025

We've all heard about the importance of diet, stress and exercise to our health. But to what extent does our lifestyle really influence our longevity? This talk will provide some answers about the key factors in ageing and give you some ideas on how to optimise your everyday well-being.

Dr Dorota Teterycz, FMH specialist in general and visceral surgery, will discuss a range of topics, including:

  • The role of genetics in our longevity
  • Good and bad stress 
  • The intestinal microbiota 
  • Polyphenols
  • Sugars and sweeteners
  • Leaky gut (intestinal hyperpermeability)
  • Insulin
  • Calorie restriction and intermittent fasting
  • Food supplements and vitamin D
