In 1995, the Clinique de Genolier made history by becoming the first private radiotherapy and oncology centre in Switzerland. Since then, the clinic has continued to develop and innovate in this field.

So, on this World Cancer Day, we share with you the poignant story of Éric, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2020. Accompanied by dedicated oncology teams, he tells us about his journey marked by acceptance of the disease, while addressing the concerns raised by his loved ones at the time of this revelation.

He also emphasises the crucial importance of support from those around him, and the need to talk to medical experts to find out what's going on. Today, Éric juggles a busy schedule, sharing precious moments with his loved ones and exploring the world alongside his family.
