Dr. med. Eric Antonelli

Born in Geneva, Eric Antonelli earned his diploma in medicine and his PhD at the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva. In 2002, he earned FMH certification in obstetrics and gynaecology.

 

He continued his training in obstetrics and gynaecology, in the canton of Neuchâtel, and then focused on maternity at the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, where he was appointed Chief resident in the Obstetrics department, and then Deputy physician, leading the Foetal medicine and ultrasound unit.

 

After earning a diploma from the Faculty of medicine at Strasbourg, he would go on to pursue research projects into ultrasound and pregnancy. He was also placed in charge of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at the Faculty of medicine, while also teaching at the Geneva School of Health Sciences.

 

In 2006, Dr Antonelli opened a private practice and turned his focus to his specialisms in obstetrics and foetal ultrasounds. He worked with the maternity unit at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, and is a consultant for specialist ultrasounds for pregnant women. He is a member of the OGOG (Ordre des Gynécologues-Obstétriciens de Genève) the SSGO (Société Suisse de Gynécologie et d'Obstétrique) and the ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology).
