Dr Ambrosetti obtained her federal medical diploma from the University of Geneva in 1996 and the title of FMH Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics in 2005. For the next four years, she worked as Head of Clinic in Operative Gynaecology, then in Onco-Gynaecology and Senology, at the CHUV (Lausanne University Hospital) and then at the HUG (Geneva University Hospitals). At the same time, from 2006 onwards, she was involved in the development of the Réseau Romand de Cancer et Fertilité as coordinator. Her interest in reproductive medicine and operative gynaecology, as well as her scientific curiosity, prompted her to specialise in reproductive medicine and endocrinological gynaecology at the CHUV as Head of Clinic, and then at the Hôpital Cochin in Paris as a registered doctor. She then went on to obtain an advanced FMH qualification in this field. Since setting up her own practice,Dr Ambrosetti has maintained a position as consultant physician to the HUG. She also works actively with the Centre de Procréation Médicalement Assistée (CPMA) at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu.Dr Ambrosetti is a member of the Swiss Society of Reproductive Medicine and its European (ESHRE) and North American (ASRM) counterparts.
