Education

Dr Rohner qualified in 1985 and obtained his FMH qualification in urology and surgical urology in 1995. He trained with Prof Graber at Geneva University Hospital. His interest quickly focused on the treatment of urological cancers, particularly prostate cancer, in a department that was one of Switzerland's pioneers in radical prostatectomy and active prostate cancer surveillance.

He was appointed Head of Clinic in 1992 and then Deputy Physician in 1996, and was responsible for onco-urology and then the tumour symposium in the Urology Department until 2000, when he went into private practice. He remained a Consultant Physician at Geneva University Hospitals until 2012.

Work Experience

Specialises in onco-urology, stone treatment, prostatic hypertrophy and urethral pathology.
