After obtaining her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva,Dr Carine Schwarz Blatt specialised in gynaecology and obstetrics, graduating in 1999 in accordance with the new postgraduate training guidelines issued by the FMH. She was appointed Head of Clinic at Geneva University Hospitals in 2001. Passionate about female hormonology, and in particular the issues surrounding fertility, she undertook a second five-year training course in reproductive medicine and endocrinological gynaecology. Having passed the examination corresponding to the new federal requirements of the Society of Gynaecology, she moved to Geneva in 2006. She then trained in psychosomatic gynaecology withDr Sylvain Mimoun in Paris, where she treated viral cases (chronic hepatitis B, C and HIV+) in couples wishing to become pregnant.Dr Schwarz Blatt has been a member of the medical team at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu's MAP Centre since 2007.
