Training: managing the trunk and postural control

On Saturday 29 March and Sunday 30 March, Clinique Valmont is organising a training on the management of the trunk and postural control.

In the field of neuro-rehabilitation, mastery of postural control and trunk functionality are the essential foundations for improving patients' autonomy and quality of life. Deterioration of the trunk as a result of age or various neurological diseases is a key problem that is often underestimated.
This two-day course is designed to enhance your skills in these critical areas, combining theory and practice for clinical application of the latest neuroscience and physiology concepts.

Course content :

  • Review of the theoretical bases of neurorehabilitation, neurophysiology and anatomy (theory)
  • Update of new concepts and scientific literature in the field (theory)
  • Transfer of theoretical knowledge to rehabilitation practice (theory and practice)
  • Review of the various techniques for managing the trunk and control and their logic of use (theory and practice)

  • Stimulation of clinical reasoning through role-playing (practice)
  • Building a treatment plan based on clinical reasoning (practice)
