Dr. med. Mathieu Vanden Eynde

After studying at the Faculty of Medicine at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Belgium and obtaining his doctorate in medicine in June 2009, he left the flat country to begin his internship in gynaecology and obstetrics at the maternity unit in La Chaux-de-Fonds in October of the same year.
He continued his training in the maternity units of Neuchâtel, Nyon, Fribourg, Riaz and Geneva, and obtained his federal postgraduate qualification as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with the HUG in March 2016.

He completed his internship and began his clinical training in Morges, before returning to the HUG maternity unit for two years as head of clinic.

He went into exile at the other end of the lake to finalise his surgical logbook, where he passed his FMH examination for advanced training in surgical gynaecology and obstetrics in December 2020 at the Hôpital Riviera-Chablais.

He set up his own practice at the Clinique de Carouge on 1 May 2021, and resumed his clinical activities at the Maternité des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève as a consultant in October of the same year. He is accredited by the Clinique Générale Beaulieu, the Clinique des Grangettes and the Hôpital de la Tour for his private surgical and obstetric practice.
