FMH-certified anaesthesiologist
After earning a degree from the Faculty of medicine in Geneva, Dr Mehdi Hamdani underwent specialist training in anaesthesiology at the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève.
In 2008, he was appointed Chief resident at the Anaesthesiology department under Prof. Clergue and then Prof. M Tramèr.
After completing his multidisciplinary training, in 2009 Dr Hamdani worked as Chief resident at the Pre-hospital emergency and intensive care unit at the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (Cardiomobile), under Dr M Niquille.
In 2015, he worked as Chief resident within the Intensive care department at the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève under Prof. J Pugin. While covering a range of responsibilities as Chief resident between 2008 and 2016, Dr Hamdani refined his expertise in local anaesthesia under ultrasound, and participated in post-graduate training at the Anaesthesiology department of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, running workshops on local anaesthesia.
Dr. Hamdani is an FMH-certified anaesthesiologist and holder of a doctorate in medicine from the Faculty of medicine in Geneva, and joined the group of accredited anaesthesiologists at the Clinique Générale Beaulieu in 2016.
He applies his knowledge of ultrasound to the various sub-specialisms within anaesthesiology, such as nerve blocking in local anaesthesia, vascular pathways, haemodynamic tests and pleuropulmonary ultrasounds.
