Anaesthesiology
After graduating in 2000 from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva, Danielle Sartorius trained mainly in anaesthesiology at the Geneva Cantonal University Hospital (HUG), in the department of Professor Clergue and then Professor Tramer. With the support of a federal grant, she gained valuable experience in the management of polytrauma patients at the Hôpital Universitaire de la Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris, in Professor Coriat's department.
On her return to the anaesthesiology department at the HUG, she was appointed head of the emergency clinic, and a few years later became medical director of REGA Geneva.
She subsequently broadened her experience to include digestive anaesthesia, loco-regional anaesthesia and hemodynamic and anaesthetic ultrasound.
An FMH specialist in anaesthesiology and holder of a thesis in haemostasis from the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva, she joined the anaesthesiology team at the Clinique Générale Beaulieu in 2017.
She is currently taking a new 3-year course in medical hypnosis at the Institut Romand D'Hypnose Suisse (IRHyS).
