• Congenital deformities of the chest wall (pectus excavatum, pectus carinatum, Poland syndrome)
• Surgery on the diaphragm, tumours and paralysis/plicature
• Pericardial drainage and pericardial surgery
• Cervical and thoracic lymph node biopsy, lymph node dissection
• PleurX catheter placement (chronic or recurrent pleural effusion)
• Placement of implantable chamber (Port-a-cath)
• Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis or Raynaud's syndrome/acrosyndrome

I have given more than 100 scientific presentations at symposia and national and international surgical conferences. I have obtained numerous grants and research funds to finance my work.

I served as a member of the Lung Cancer Group, National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) from 2007 to 2014 and as an expert to the UK Department of Health (Asbestos Review Group).
